How to retrieve the MAC address of an Android device 

 Device needs to be connected to the Webguard Router WiFi before proceeding. 

 

 Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Network  or Internet 

 Click on the Settings  icon next to your WiFi name 

 Click on Privacy 

 Choose Use device MAC 

 Go back to the previous screen 

 Scroll down and look for Device MAC address

 Device needs to be connected to the Webguard Router WiFi before proceeding. 

 

 Go to Settings > WiFi  

 Click on the Information icon next to your WiFi name 

 Disable  Private Wi-Fi Address 

 Tap  Continue at the prompt 

 The MAC address will be visible as the Wi-Fi Address

 Ensure device is connected to the Webguard Pro network - either Wired or WiFi 

 

 Wired Network 

 

 Wireless Network 

 

 Alternative Method: CMD Line 

 Open the command prompt, and type ipconfig /all 

 

 The challenge is to make sure that you're looking at the MAC address for the active interface, and not for any other interface 

 Make sure the interface has a real IP address (e.g. 192.168.1.100 or 192.168.8.100)
